OP ElKy Hard-core CEG'er E Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 8,445 Prince Spaghettiville	not my contour.... i just saw on the news that somewhere in mass(i missed the town)a contour(green, non SVT, rear spoiler, tan cloth interior) and an 18-wheeler colided. they showed the car and truck on the news, the roof was taken off the tour. they said the driver of the tour was taken to the hospital and later died. thats the first contour related death that i have heard of. NY State Trooper: So what makes your car so special to have SVT all over it? Me: Er...It was made by Fords SPECIAL Vehicle Team?

The only accident I've ever heard of like that was when a probe had it's top taken off by a semi trailer around here a couple years ago. Hope I never encounter that with my tour. Hey, I was hit by an 18 Wheeler on 495 in my Talon! We were both going about 75 and he side swiped me, and then the bastid took off! Since there were about 20 cars around us I didn't have to take 50% blame for the hit & run, but mostly I was kinda happy to have lived and was able to drive the car for another year. YAY LUCK!!
