I did mine cause the front end hasd some stange noises and was a little loose (old ) feeling. The roads here beat the crap out of suspension parts.

I am going to replace my struts next week. I have 110,000 on the original fronts.
I don't want to spend a lot of precious cash, so I am hesitant about replacing the strut bearings. How can you tell these are bad? I have a clunking sound coming from the front end when going over bumps.
How much are new ones?

I just replaced them as a preventative measure. Clunking probably coming from ball joints, part of the sway bar assembly, or worn outer tie rod ends.
