Mangler: I'll take you up on that offer. What wires do you have in mind? The plugs I'll just get at Crappy Tire. Oh, Jeff's car has a few good mods to it, but I also lost to Alex's MTX SE. He's only got the SVT exhaust on that, with the resonator in place, as well as the stock air box.
All you guys claim that even a modded SE shouldn't pass an SVT, well how 'bout a near stock SE?!?
Others: Agreed I didn't post a lot of info on my ride, so here it is: It's got 62,500 miles (100,000km). The cat converter is original. The O2 sensor has been changed. Exhaust is stock but the res has been removed. I have an open element air filter but no heat sheild (yet!). The plugs & wires are original, and neither the TB nor the upper manifold have ever been cleaned.
I have an extended warranty on this thing, would they change my cat converter if it was plugged? Is there any way I can tell short of replacing the thing?
