wow i just realized how much two big holes in a bumper detract from the overall look of a car.
Before:

After:

i bought these foglights from a pre-98 tour this weekend for 10 dollars which included the harnesses and the mounts. i was going to put them in when i figured out that they were a weee bit too big for the 98-00 holes. the brakets also required a bit of modification.
Another thing i did was make the blue oval red. i got it off a escort for free and i already had the t-red paint. im probably gonna get a new one from ford and modify that one because this one is a little rough.

im gonna change the rear logo to black so it matches the blacked-out chrome strip

i changed [image] to [img] and now it works. hmm

I never use my stock foglights (they suck) but I know what you mean. The front end looks much better with them in.

Now if I ever manage to get a set of 510's in there, I will use them.

The stock fogs are really only good for going out all of the time.

i think it has to do with how securly they are mounted, if they are bouncing around all the time they will burn out faster, whereas if they are mounted well they shouldnt move around as much. maybe the post 98s had some problems in that area.

All I know is that in the frist 6 months I drove it, I went through 5 bulbs.

It seemed like everytime I turned them on, one of them was blown out.

No problem. I will just wait for quality driving light goodness, not this lame ass weak factory fog blowout time.

At least the holes are filled with something.
