Perhaps you are right about the driver, and I won't argue the point. The Acura TL Type-S is fast, but I guess it was a drivers race.

CHA Slapaho: Sorry I don't play the kiddie finger games. I have been known to give cars that are simliar in performance a good race. The Integra Type-R is a fast car and I did not deny that, and with the right driver I would get beat everytime. I know my car and I know the right shift points. When I ran a 15.2 @ 89mph, that was last year when my car was nearly stock save an exhuast. At this point I still do not have speed enhancing upgrades, I just shift right at redline. Now it was obvious that the Integra I raced had a good driver behind the wheel because he beat me, but that too was a driver's race. Our cars had similar mods but the integra engine has a slight edge. I have taken my car to the limit, and noticed since I installed the dmd, my car is faster on the top-end. I have noticed cars that normally pull on me hard on the top-end I can hang and even pull on them (ex. 98-02 TL's, RSX's). Now, whether they were good drivers on the top-end I do not know, but once you have the pedal down in forth or fifth gear, in a straight line on an open course, it doesn't take much driveability. But it is amazing that a four door family car has a nice performing engine and can keep up with certain sports cars!
