Australian cars run OBD-1 as there emissions are as strict over there - hence upping the power (i.e. losing the cats) doesn't send the ECU into a tizzy.

Also the way it is it won't pass the stupid 5mph crash test over here.

Also registering a RHD car in the states cost mucho dinero (just ask Motorex who imports Skylines to the US), and it's dangerous to drive it "as-is" in RHD form on the RH of the road in the US! (you can't see sh!t for passing other cars!).
