I have a 95 Mystique 2.5 that the starter would not ingage,hopeing that it was the starter drive I replace the starter,did not help.So the problem must be the gear on the flex plate.Shreaching this site and others I notice a lot of people where haveing the same problem.SO at least the ring gear must be defective.Has Ford had a recall on this or a T.S.B.?This car has only 85K miles on it.I'm just about 60 years old,hade a lot of auto and never had trouble with bad teeth on the flywheells,must be a bad part.
