OP Mark 77 New CEG\'er M Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 31 Helsinki, Finland	Is it normal that the car vibrates and sounds a litle rough when it's ideling in Drive or Neutral? It's not very bad but it's annoying.Can i fix it or sdjust it in any way? Mark, Contour GL 2,0 ATX, -98

Rogerm60 Hard-core CEG'er R Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 2,408	It's normal for all 4-bangers to be a 'little' rough, but standard upkeep will make the best of it. Be sure the engine mounts are good, they can make vibration worse. Make sure the timing belt is good and if you replace it get the idlers too. New plugs and wires. OEM style double plats and OEM wires. New PCV valve and the rubber part of the hose to it. Clean the MAF. Remember, it has a check engine light and you can check the codes yourself if it comes on.
