What happened to the contour-grand am race-off at Byron ya'all ???

I read that my buddies showed up and smacked up some Cougars there.* It sounds like they had a lot of fun. I myself on the other hand lost to this Festiva "Type R" last night. He had a s/c, titanium connecting rods, 5000 shot NOS, and awesome ground FX. Funny thing is the Contour I raced lost to me and this Datsun 500. I dunno, but where was your "put-up ?" The time came and you guys seem to have wimped out.... what was the big problem, broken down or something ?

Why don't we try to organize as the nice weather is here (at last!) ... we could have a day at the track, barbecue, trade some positive thoughts and have some good old racing fun!

I don't think anyone wimped out, no wants to drive hundreds of miles to race Grand Ams, hell nothing against Grand Ams I'm not driving hundreds of miles to race my SVT. Oh, yea don't get too high on chips, we've only gotten very mixed results at best. Hell I've beaten four GAGTs just fooling around town, that was before my Bassani and Y-Pipe install. I'm gonna try to get some headers sometime this summer, I'm pretty much out of your league, especially with the headers, not being rude, just pretty much stating the facts.

Damn those Festiva Type R's those things are insano your lucky you didnt go up against the one with a 11000 shot of NOS and the twin S/C's.....LOL!!!

well from what my roomate told me the fastest Newer GAGT ran a 15.6, he said it had no headlight etc... faster coug was 15.1, and SVT tours running low 15s and some regular cougars with 2.5s running 15.6s-15.8s, up to par with the modded GAGTS and GAGTS lost most of the races.... i have proof, video from my roomate, whats the best way to get this posted to shut these GAGTS up for good.

Maybe once the video gets up there Epoch00 can send the link to his "buddies" to refresh their memory.

this is funny because the dude who owns the local avis car rental store has a brand new grand am GT with lots of mods...he took it to the track and only ran a 16.2...sort of sad for a big bad pontiac

Why is epoch00 on here any way? Oh I know,there is no GAGT enthusist groups. BTW my freind's Saturn 1.8L beat a GAGT ram air with no mods.
