Beat him heh?

It doesn't count when the Saturn is flooring his ride and passing the Grand Am "GT" as the GTowner is in the left lane waiting to pull into his driveway, moving 1 or 2 mph, waiting for the oncoming traffic to open up and make his left turn.

Obviously the Saturn had the holeshot. This happens to us all. In riceboy wonderland this is a solid victory - blowing by an "opponent" that is not racing.

Clearly, you are inexperienced and do not understand the thinking of the ricer, jeez.

Haw haw haw!!!

The Festiva Type R? That must be a euro-spec version of the Fiesta? They are pretty quick cars with heavy mods b/c of the power to wiehgt ratio, but otherwise I would think that they are slow as heck, rather economy associated mobiles.

I have raced and beaten up a lot of newer Z24s and a Malibu (Chevy?), but I have not raced against the newer Grand Am. The old one is a challenge and if you go up against the older model with the dohc motor v6 watch out, that thing is no boat. All in all, those GM's are lame ducked because of the old school motor tech they have and lack of stick in most models....

Dang troopers were out all over this weekend!!! Had to know that someone would be snagged! Did you get caught street racing? That is not a cheap tick!!!! :eek!

Naw. It was an interstate race. I backed of at 95 (75 mph zone) when my detector went off. I guess homeboy didn't have one because he kept on going and going, that is until the State trooper whipped around and chased him down. Me and my friend had a good laugh over it! laugh

There was no DOHC V6 in the Grand Am...perhaps it's the Grand Prix's 3.4 Twin Cam you're referring to? If so, yes, that was a nice engine (also used in Lumina & Monte Carlo till around '97), but with not quite the punch the blown 3800 has today.

The Grand Am you want to watch out for is the old 180 hp H.O. Quad 4.
