In recent months, I have been having an increasingly hard time remembering certain things, so I assume that it is only my short term that has been affected. The thing about it is, I haven't been in any accident or anything that would cause it, so I'm assuming that there is something missing from my diet that is playing a role in this. Is there anything I can do to increase my memory power? If I'm like this now at 22, I can't even imagine what I'll be like at 60.

i have been this way for about 10 years now and i am only 28.
people used to tell me to use a small note book to write down notes....i kept losing the notebooks.

but i think my memory loss is due to smashing my face of the diving board during diving practice my freshman year.

Someone once said that if you can't remember where you put your car keys, you don't have a problem. If you can't remember what your car keys are for, you do have a problem....

You aren't taking Lipitor, are you? I would think not at 22, but you never know. I was hearing on the radio the other day that one of the side effects of Lipitor was an increasingly bad memory. Just a thought.

I've been the same I've noticed, but I think it's just because I have too much on my plate all at once.
sometimes I'll remember something and think to myself "Ok I really can't forget to do that when that time comes"
sure enough, I forget.
so I have to play these stupid psychology games with myself all the time.
My apartment is full of obstructions in the walkways at any given time. These are little reminder bombs I set for myself. If I have to walk around something, I think "why's that there? oh yeah"

At work, I've gotten into the habit of writing pretty much everything down.

jumping from work to ceg every time I'm waiting for the printer or when a program is running slow doesn't help my memory much either.
I distract myself way too much.
