The interior is the primary reason I didn't trade for a Cobra a while back. The ergonomics are crap, the finishes are cheap, the design is at least a decade old, the interior is way too cramped considering the dimensions, etc. etc. No way that crap should be in a $30k car--even the $22k SVT has a better interior. The exterior, the performance, the sound ( ) is tops but sadly it's the interior that you experience the most. I still lust after the current Cobra 'verts and have visions of dealer discounts dancing in my head but would have to spend at least $3k getting the interior to some semblance of presentable. It is that bad, IMNSHO.
Exactly! Current '04 Cobra Vert's are listing out at $31K now, some $8K in discounts to be had.
