Struck by the utter stupidity of the first page of this thread, I could not bring myself to read the rest. I had no idea that since a car was produced in nomral volumes it made it some how not worthy of any ounce of respect. This somehow makes a low-production car immidiately superior regardless of performance. I mean I LOVE my SVT , but holy sht , dont get so stuck up on it. Low volume does not equal fast, low volume does not equal quality, low volume does not make it anything more than exclusive.

*EDIT* To the original poster congrats , I hope to work my way into a new or slightly used 05-06 Mustang GT as soon as possible! I think Im going to wait for Dark Shadow Grey or soemthing similar though.

Nothing to complain about? Wow!

The interior is the primary reason I didn't trade for a Cobra a while back. The ergonomics are crap, the finishes are cheap, the design is at least a decade old, the interior is way too cramped considering the dimensions, etc. etc. No way that crap should be in a $30k car--even the $22k SVT has a better interior. The exterior, the performance, the sound () is tops but sadly it's the interior that you experience the most. I still lust after the current Cobra 'verts and have visions of dealer discounts dancing in my head but would have to spend at least $3k getting the interior to some semblance of presentable. It is that bad, IMNSHO.

Exactly! Current '04 Cobra Vert's are listing out at $31K now, some $8K in discounts to be had.

One of the most beautiful cars I've seen in years, and I don't mind if its derivitive of previous 'stangs. It still looks great, is classic, and will perform even better than before.

Congrats on your purchase! Be sure to post some pics when it arrives!

I get looks all the time in my contour as well. Often I get that look like "what the heck did you do to that car?" ,, I've been told I have a "nice taurus" and when not driving my car, i've been asked, "where's the escort?"

Come on kremi, you tellin me this interior isn't pure hotness? Plastic wood owns you!

Nope just a standard GT. I want something with nice performance, so I was not interested in the little crap. The GT'S come nicely equipped without adding anything.

Plus I deleted the spoiler, it looks odd. Now all I can do is wait.

Tell you what I'll go drive one tomorrow and I'll think about you . . .

Seriously though, you won't be disappointed. It's going to be a fun car.
