^^^ That's exactly what I did, didn't have any pressure, just a bit of residual fuel in the lines and old filter, but with a towel underneath it, it caught all of it, put the new one in and wabam! I believe I just used a Fram filter, since I was in a hurry to replace it, but I haven't had any problems.
