Damn, that is a long way. I drove my girlfriend and I to FL for Spring Break, and coming from Livonia, MI, that was a long drive like 17 hours or something.

22 hours from Philly to Miami.. would have been much quicker had it not been for destroying a wheel, and becoming temporarily arrested and then unarrested

About 1100 miles or something like that...takes about 18.5 hours. My home in Fond du Lac, WI to Camp Lejuene in Jacksonville, NC. I've done it 3 times already, and I'll be going again tonight. Always drive straight through, although last time I stopped in West Virginia to sleep for an hour.

EDIT: I've also done a 12 hour, 700 something drive to North Dakota to pick up a car. I'll tell you one thing, I don't think I'll ever go back to ND. We were 13 miles from the Canadian border...there is absolutely NOTHING up there

Plainfield, IL to midtown Atlanta, GA; done it twice. Coming back the last time, I stopped for lunch and gas about twenty minutes north of the city. After that I just hauled ass, stopped only for gas, found a few cars on I-24 in Tennessee that wanted to go 105 for a little while, and made it home in ten hours.

Edit: Mapquest says 761.99 miles from my old apartment to the Fairfield in Atlanta, so say I did about 740 miles in ten hours.

959 miles from Boston, MA to Charleston, SC. 16 hours, roughly. Left at 7pm, got there at 11am, stopping only for gas and snacks. I got into NC before I had to let my g/f take over. Man, was that a long night!

I've driven about 300,000 miles straight. Although, I have always been straight.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
