Riverside, CA to San Jose, CA and right back again. My dad was working for the GMC dealer in Riverside and I was paid to drive a pickup up to San Jose and bring a Minivan back.

I learned to really hate GMC minivans on that trip. Driving over the Grapevine in that POS empty was almost coma inducing.

I think it was about 14 hours in all. I think I spent a total of 10 minutes at the GMC dealership. The worst part was that it was only 6 hours to drive up, but that POS Safari took 8 hours to get back to Riverside, with midday traffic and all. Almost totaled that van at least 4 times on the trip back.

ALL of my drives have been done straight. I'd never drive gay, no matter how many miles it is. [seinfeld] Not that there's anything wrong with that. [\seinfeld]

I've done the Pensacola, FL to Santa Rosa, CA drive on multiple occasions, usually with only 2 sleep breaks of about 3 hours each (in the car at a rest stop)

This was back in my college days

I drove from Ft. Worth, Tx to Rohnert Park, Ca..........36 hours with just a 2 hour nap in Arizona.

On the short end, I did a 16 hour drive from Charleston, SC to Bethpage, NY......only took that long cause I got lost up in NY. On the way back, it was only about 13 1/2 hrs.

We do 6 to 7 hour drive every now & then from Charleston to central Florida.

I would have to say rhe longest I have ever driven without sleep of any kind was the 24 hour drive from Ft. Worth, Texas to Ocala, Fl.
