New Suxico to Southern Cali...did it 5 or 6 times while I was stationed there. Between 13-15 hours depending on how I drove.
Did it once without sleeping within the 24 hours prior to leaving...not the best idea but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I made it anyway...barely.

Liar. It's 3100 miles.
I drove from Charlotte to Kansas City. 1050 miles, 14 hours. Only stopped for gas and McDonald's (once)

Typo. My bad. I meant 3,000 not 4000 -- and it's actually probably a bit less than that depending how you go -- I went a longer route through Dallas.
Obviously couldn't be 4,000, as no two points on CONUS are that far apart without a LOT of going out of your way.

I drove from Orlando to Cincinatti in 11 hours. Considering the narcolepsy, I think that was pretty good.

i drove from pensacola forida. no sleep to denver colorado. in my svt. went west to amarillo up to durango and then to denver. all in one trip. stopped for gas, pee, and drink. i did not sleep for almost 28 hours. then i went to sleep for about 6 hours and then stayed up all the next night at a party my boys threw for me. this is after i graduated from tech school in p-cola. i guess i was a little excited to get home. texas sux to drive through and i did about a 120 the whole way through texas with no pull overs. quite dumb now that i think about it but hey.

In June 1992, I drove from Danville, VA to Lakeland, FL(720 miles) in a 1968 Mustang. I only stopped for gas(which was often, given it had a 15 gallon fuel tank and a thirsty 390 4-barrel)and food(get it in the drive-thru and go). The car was loud and hot (remember, it was June and it had no A/C)and I felt literally beat after the 12 hours or so it took to get there.
I drove the same car to Clarksville, TN straight(about 500 or so miles) in 1991. Only problem I encountered with this car was a seized-up power steering pump coming back from Clarksville. It burned up the belt(thank goodness it ran a belt separately from the water pump), but I just kept going.

Dallas to El Paso. Its just you, the car, tumbleweeds, and a Dairy Queen about every 50 miles. And what the frick is up with exit ramps in west Texas? You've got all the space in the world and the ramps are the shortest in the country! Its like the DOT guys said, "hey Earl they gots a DQ here, lets throw down a couple shovels of ashpalt--it'll be exit 598."

In retrospect, it was all downhill from here. RIP, CEG.

I helped a friend move a car from Ada, Ohio to Bozeman, Montana. It was a beautiful 1969 Plymouth GTX - but his brother-in-law's car, so we babied it; 1700 miles took us about 36 hours, stopping only for gas, food and bathroom breaks. After awhile, you get used to a pattern of sleeping for 3 hours, then driving for 3 hours. Only real delay was slow driving through an ice storm west of Minneapolis: I was driving, my friend was sleeping in the back seat. I hadn't noticed how quickly the road was icing over; the light rear end suddenly started sliding. My friend felt it right away and popped his head up over the seat just in time to see the road going by at unusual angles. Quick steering correction was all it took to recover, but the adrenaline rush remained to remind me to stay out of the gas pedal. Unsurprisingly, my friend had trouble getting back to sleep.

Coming back from Cougarfest last year was my longest. Virginia Beach, VA to St. Louis, MO with a detour through Radford, VA was a little over 1000 miles and took about 16 hours with a bunch of stops along the way. It started getting hard around hour 13 (9pm driving across southern IL), but wasn't too bad.
