I am in Sterling and I am looking to up the HP in my CSVT. Can anyone recommend a Mod Chip? The local performance store said that they can pull my chip and send it away to have it reburned for $300(I will lose my car for 3 days) or I can order one from SPMotorsports for about $230....what do I do?

Here is my recommendation. Save your money. Mod Chips for the SVT = waste of money for no noticeable HP.

If you want any type of power for the SVT do a 3.0L swap, or StreetFlights Turbo kit. All other mods will not net you to much HP / TQ in the end.

Most of the people who burn chips for our cars have no experience with them and you end up with a bad burn. Some people have actually lost power. If you do go with a chip, go with streetflight. They have a ton of experience with the contour. This however should be one of the last mods you do.
