I phoned Jegs, Summit, and a place called Racerpartswholesale.com today. Summit is back ordered on 1.5 quart Moroso unit ($180 for manual valve). Jegs has stock of the 1.5 quart Moroso at same price. Curiously the 3 quart units are $5 cheaper. Racerpartswholesale carry the Accusump - in stock at $170 for 2 quart unit with manual valve. Electric valves add about $100. Sandwich plates run at about $45. Mounting hardware adds about $20 in each case. So the BAT price is reasonable if you want the electric valve. Otherwise it looks like Racerpartswholesale is better. I may call BAT tomorrow to see if they would offer the manual valve version at a comparable price since they also sell the required tubing etc.
Just to confirm, I don't need a check valve if I'm running right off the filter mount, right?
