My clutch is shuddering a bit and I think it is nearing its day. I want to upgrade, the idea of using OEM has never set well with me, but it seems like using an aftermarket unit is a roll of the dice. People say they bite hard, but shudder quite a bit. What I'm looking for is a clutch that can be daily driven, pounded on occaisionally, yet remain smooth and shudder free (keeping my trans in one piece would be nice too). Is there such a clutch on the market? I searched the forums and didn't really find a good answer to this question. Lastly, for those of you who had your clutch installed by a mechanic, what did you pay? Mechanics around here are telling me 900-1100 with parts included in that figure. Thanks
