new exhaust filter dude. comes on all the 2005 models... hehe  Actually, its part of a turbo setup if i remember right... it was part of a post awhile back but i don't quite remember.

Thats one of those turbos they mount all the way in the back... Thats the air intake for the turbo I believe

It is STS turbo's...they have quite name locally...had a bunch of cars at the car show today. They make good power, but I don't think it is an ideal set-up, plus they don't have any knowledge as far as tuning/management etc. I think www.ststurbo.com Again he has some good points, ease of install, etc, but still...

With your intake behind your wheel, seems to me you're just asking for hydrolock. Although it would probably be much harder for water to get to the engine from way back there.

I wouldnt be as worried about hydrolock as much as the 500+degree turbo getting hit with water, or injesting water.
