They're definitely not peppy at all. I'm not saying a stock zetec contour is either, but a cavalier definitely isn't.

my buddy has a 91 ATX 2.2 with the tbi (crap) and he ran an 18.1!!!! haha thats with 95 HP.. I have 120..
I'll tell yeah what tough, I'm pretty positive.. a MTX cav 2.2 will beat a MTX zetec, as long as the cav is a 94 with the mpfi and roller rockers...
remember the 93 didnt have roller rockers.. and other various things.. (they only had 110 hp)... anything older had 95HP... the 94 had 120 HP
now
120 HP 2.2 MTX 2550lbs
125 HP zetec MTX 3000lbs
what do you honestly think will be faster? the wieght is a big issue here.

are those weights exact?? and it sounds like u run at a real nice track,, maybe i'll come up there so i run some low 16s or something.

sorry i have been out all, bsuy at work, havent had a lot of time. he ran that slow. he had those huge wheels and the interior all done up. it was sad. plain and simple.

well heres the exact Curb Weight of a 1992 Z24 3.1 Manual - 2689 lbs, so its around 2500 for the 2.2.... there pretty lite cars, nothing special tough.. and the interior sucks  and it rattles and creeks...
but yeah big rims and big stereo will probably slow him down, the atx sucks in the cavaliers to... 3 speed auto's geared to [censored]..
but like I sayed overall.. a 2.2 mtx base cav will have a way better advantage over a 2L mtx zetec.

also remeber i didnt have a hood on, that helped.
his car just sux. but he thinks its badass. it has a huge wing on the back and all the engine stuff under the hood done in chrome so its all heavy in there too.
if it was bone stock and an MTX, i would have been owned...
