A little!!!

BTW there has been at least one reported failure of the Weapons-Rice knock offs on the NECO site. (also consider the WR headers have not been out that long either )

IIRC That person bought a set of MSDS to replace them.
Remember the WR headers have NO warranty and are not a direct fit.

If you think the MSDS set is SO MUCH more expensive. Consider this...
You could sell the Y-pipe with the set for at least $125. Most likely more considering a non-coated steel cat-less Y-pipe is $150.

They sell fast as lots of folks can not touch the main cat (emissions, inspections, SCCA, etc) and the MSDS unit bolts between the headers and the cat thus making it a legal change anywhere.

Actually everyone seems to forget a few things about the price difference.

MSDS ~ $700 (with extreme coating)
Weapon R ~ $340

There is a $360 price difference...First of all Japanese steel is much cheaper than US steel and also is crappier.

If you took the Weapon R headers and added everything that the MSDS headers had, there's be a smaller price difference.

Weapon R base price is $340...
Add: $200 for high temp X-treme coating
$50 for install hardwayr
$40 pre built MIL elims
$XX for improper fitment...

New total: $630 + Fitment...

Ok...we know that MSDS's quality of steel is going to be better, weld quality is better, fitment is better, etc etc etc...

So, you do the math...

unfortunatly I had the MSDS headers on the car but I was going to sell it after I got it fixed from my electric short and so I took them off and sold them. Now I am keeping the car so I am looking for a new set. Yes they are a pin to do in the car but it only took me 3 hours to put the stock manifolds back in while the engine was in the car. I think that is excellent time since it took me almost 10 hours to put them on in the first place.
