That was a typing error. The stock compression ratio of the GSR is 10:1 and the ITR is 10.2:1. The 99-00 Si is 10.4:1, for comparison. Normally people will use high 8's or 9:1 compression when changing pistons for boosted applications. The 400~ whp hatch in Houston was using stock bottom end with stock 10:1 compression. The S2K uses 11:1 compression pistons which is still low enough to increase boosted output to over 300whp with third party engine management and a good dyno tuner. I don't know why this subject keeps coming up in this thread. It's very possible.
As far as being a "drag car," you don't see Corvettes or Cobras as drag cars either. The ones you do see have swapped out the IRS for a live rear axle. The S2K isn't a favorable platform for Honda drag racing.
Of all these cars, I would still take the C5 or the Cobra or the S2K, in that order. Hooray for torque.
