I'd like to do both days but know it is not possible frown You guys can go on Sunday too and take massive amounts of pics of cars and ideas of mods!

Cool!!! So now Sam (PhatSVT) and Antonio are showing!!! Remember to let us know where you are located so that we can come by and say hey!!!!

Pakrat! It is an educational journey....haahaaa....a learning experience....uhhhh......a vacation....a.....long drive to a place to have a picnic eek YEAH that's it!!!!

Tell her she will not be alone. My wife is going too.

Cool Wthrman maybe there is a place where the two treks will colide and join up!!!

Guys I am psyched about this. Remember this thread and remember to bring your friends. I got a couple of non-Fords that are wanting to check it out so this is becoming a pretty impressive group!!!! The more the merrier....or something like that. Those of you who have maps that you feel would be a benefit, add them.

Timelines would also be great. REMEMBER!!! We want to make this trek fun so when you schedule your times, give yourselves some leeway.

Can anyone find out which way SuperStreet is coming? I noticed that some of you would like to run with them in. It may be possible. We just need to keep researching this on a daily basis and see if those guys are cool with meeting us or vise versa.

WOOO HOOOO eek

Ok guys now that another post (book) has been written and the weather is 78 degrees and CLEAR at 6:06 central time guess what I am gonna do?!!?!!?!!

Yup you know all too well. So I shall be on the road playing!

See ya tonight
Rich

That is cool Chris. I understand! We made the trek last year.....kinda a NOPI or bust hardcore, take it in all in one day EXTREME THANG!!!! cool But it is cool. I just don't have enough moola to stay overnite frown so I come I see I leave sunburned and worn out but with lot's of memories and hey, maybe this year, some parts! HAHAAHAAAA.

Dustyn, NOPI is an event that started a few years ago when soupin' up yer favorite pickem-up truck was the thing to do. They had a few imports and probes that had entered the scene at that time but the majority of people kinda scoffed at the idea of making your sport compact into a beast. Little did they know! So NOPI Nats is a gathering of a few thousand (as if that was a few) cars in Atlanta GA's Motor Speedway. LOTS of cars to see and ideas on mods to go around.

Car parts for sale. Car audio dB drags. Almost anything and everything you can think of. I noticed you have a mustang. They had a few there. Are you interested in possibly seeing what it could do on a "portable" dyno? It is there. Think you can light up your tires enough to do a massive burnout? Go for it! Yup that is a competition too.

Mainly though, NOPI is a whole lot of fun. Come and check it out!!!

So I have some guys meeting me here in Huntsville Ala. If your course to Atlanta will bring you through, then we will hook it up here. Otherwise, we will pick up the convoy of cars on the way.

KEEP THIS UPDATED. It looks like we may have well over twenty cars interested in the trek there. Keep posting if your coming, your thoughts about it, if you can swing thru here on the way....etc...etc....etc

I have just gotten back from Birmingham Ala and I am tired.

See ya L8R

Actually guys, n2deep here from the GA chapter of the CEG was successful in getting the contour its OWN CLASS for competition in the nopi nationals this year. He contacted the owner of Nopi here in ATL and was successful in getting the powers that be to add a contour only class to the show. There will be three general categories for contours from what I understand: conservative, mild, and wild. If you go wild, then you will be going head to head with all other wild domestics. Make sure when you sign up for the nationals that you make reference to the Contour Enthusiasts Group, as they give car club awards too.

We posted this info about 3 or 4 months ago but not too many people took interest. I think its awesome to have so many contours interested in representing during that show though. I'm suprised Ryan (n2deep) hasn't posted on this thread yet.

That is very Kool!!! Thanks for passing the info on 99SVTguy!!! N2Deep......where are you?????? Thanks for getting the 'tours in!!! Are you psyched yet???!!!!?!?!!? You should be!!! Time to jump in and turn heads! Once again! Remember NOPI Nats are Sept 21 and 22. We will be heading to Atlanta Saturday morning early. We have several people already committed to being on board.

Are you one of them???

If so keep this thread going all the way thru the very end.

Time to rock! Remember if you plan to make your car rock, now is the time to budget your expenses to take advantage of the fun! Cause who really wants to be working on their car at 11pm the night before the morning of NOPI!!

So think about it. New class for Contour's only, new for this year......lots of 'tours, foci, zx2's, mustang's run in on NOPI in a big long line....anyone bringing a camera laugh :p

Thanks again to N2Deep and 99SVTguy for the info. That is strong!

Don't forget NOPI Nats are Sept 21 and 22. Need to know if anyone else wants to meet in Hsv Ala on the way to NOPI. Also, lemmie know where the Super Street crew are coming from and when to see if we will be able to hook up with them!

As it stands we have several tours and mystiques coming with foci and zx2's. We will also have a couple imports tagging along too. Hey now.....be nice....Remember they think we are the underdogs so.......easy...easy........down!

Ok I am done now.

Hey any girl racers coming? I think that would be cool cause the majority of the cars coming are guy driven.

Later kids. Gonna go spend more gas money. It is like 80 som'n out here and I gottsta cruise. I am "testing" the new mod I did. I removed the intake resonator on my 96 mystique....liking it much. laugh
