it's not the democrats, it's the STUPID highway department and turnpike authority. it is utterly ridiculous to expect ANYONE to enjoy themselves for those four *working days* of hell when there is no way to get in OR OUT or the city. the secret service only requires a limited radius of controlled traffic, NOT FROM WOBURN TO CANTON! it is because our wonderful highway department does not have the skill nor foresight to plan a logical series of alternate routes around the city. they are going to be routing rush hour traffic into Boston on city streets (which are ALL under construction, mind you). absolute genius. and i am sure they will not coordinate with local cities and towns to monitor traffic and/or shut down construction on key roads during this catastrophe. Imagine having to take 2-3 hours of your day to drive from Westborough to Boston on a 2 lane state road with construction cutting it to 1 lane.

i can't believe my state taxes go toward paying these monkeys.

also keep in mind that buses, the ENTIRE Charles River, and the T (green, orange, and possibly blue lines) will be shut down during those hours as well.
