Hey Dan! Um... I still fill the oil to the top of the line on the dip stick. I figure that the supercharger will need oil, but as long as I keep the oil level up after the install, I should be OK for "normal" driving.
I've got about 2,200 miles on the old blower before it came apart. The jack shaft splined end (as it goes into the blower) shredded itself. I've only got about 400 miles on the replacement blower and jackshaft.
Vadim is working on an aluminum baffle that fits inside the stock oil pan. That will help with oil starvation on cornering... but I'm not sure what can be done about an oiling problem at high speed like Brad Noon... that just sucks! Maybe add an extra 1/2 quart of oil? Admittedly, going 130 mph for any period of time on an LA freeway guarantees a helicopter chase and ending-up on the local news... (and re-runs of COPS).
