Maybe on a carbureted model.. But unless you are running a throttle body injected engine.. A spacer won't do alot for you.

Yeah, but what about spacers between the upper and lower intake?

How about a cut out in the hood to allow such a modification? you don't have enough room for an intake spacer... not unless you like dents..

just slam the hood really hard when you're done laugh

actually, if you can get one that will fit, something like a phenolic resin spacer between the upper and lower intake manifolds may help power a bit, due to less heat transfer into the upper intake manifold. But, on the dual plenum, tuned length dual runner intake like the duratech has, one would really have to study the resonance effects of changing runner length to have any guess of what a spacer may do power wise. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, or it definately wouldn't be useful, just that it takes more knowledge than I have to tell if it is even worth considering (that and you need a "power bulge" in your hood to accomodate it :D)

hey I'm an engineer, I'm required to make simple things as complicated as possible and confuse as many people as possible along the way. So if anybody that isn't an engineer and is still following what I am saying, let me know and I'll be sure to fix it laugh
