actually, if you can get one that will fit, something like a phenolic resin spacer between the upper and lower intake manifolds may help power a bit, due to less heat transfer into the upper intake manifold. But, on the dual plenum, tuned length dual runner intake like the duratech has, one would really have to study the resonance effects of changing runner length to have any guess of what a spacer may do power wise. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, or it definately wouldn't be useful, just that it takes more knowledge than I have to tell if it is even worth considering (that and you need a "power bulge" in your hood to accomodate it :D)well said. and you claim you landed your job by chance...
