Feel the same way now, or did you "tolerant" hippies suddenly think that idea was completely out of line? Not so tolerant now that the idea goes against your personal beliefs, now are you? As soon as your dog can sign a marriage license, reaches the legally defined age of majority, and can give legal consent we'll talk.
Until that point you're being a friggin' idiot if you think the two are even close to one another.
If you're going to come up with some slippery sloped example, at least use a Sibling or Parent. At least there the lines start becoming a little blurry. Using a Dog or some other inanimate object that cannot give legal consent to attempt to prove whatever 'point' you have is just ignorant.
