Agreed. Unfortunately, both NH and CT refuse to recognize these MA marriages (although RI will recognize them). Pity the intolerance.
I am Catholic and this for a long time was tearing at me (originally supporting civil union but not marriage) ... a few friends and the original CEG thread on this forced me to relook my perspective. Since then I have supported it in the state and am glad MA is now recognizing and issuing licenses.
The Boston Globe clearly supports it, almost their entire front page was of the events. Ironically, the Worcester Telegram and Gazette had a different stance, a few days ago putting full page news on our new Bishop and only a quarter of the front page today on the gay marriages. I am now beginning to recognize the media tendencies all around
