I'm looking for a clay bar too, and I was wondering the same thing. I have seen clay bars at Michael's art and craft supply for just a few dollars. The clay bars at Kragen and Autozone are $13 or more. I want to know if there is any difference.
Lots of things are sold at premium prices just because they have been repackaged for a particlular market. A good example is grill mesh. If you buy it from an auto supplier, it costs $20 or so. But if you buy it at a metal supply place, its only $5.
