I wash mine at the Car wash also. It only takes about 30 seconds of your regular car washing time. Just clip them on the mat clips and spray them down. I used to wash them at home until one day I decided to go wash my car with my dad and he told me to wash my floor mats using the spray hose(I had just cleaned them anyway) so I did it and WOW...the dirt that came off was amazing.
I definitely suggest you go use the high powered hose at your local car wash.
