So how often do Rush, Hannity and Savage appear on wide spectrum shows with a mix of articulate guests like The McLaughlin Group? Could they hold up in such a format?
Agree Hannity is fairly weak....misses ALOT of good chances to shread the days liberal, and harps on certain prefered "oldie but goodie" talking points. Occasionaly get it right but not as often as he could. Combs is no better..but has less ammo to work with.
O'Rielly - is actually fairly balanced. Gets some things wrong but many right. Is quite a bulldog - got that Islamic militant professor in Florida fired, brought down the house on the Red Cross-9/11 fraud. Not quite as bright as he thinks, however.
Savage...spends 90% of his time self aggrandizing. His few good points drown out by the babble. Gives me a headache.
Rush.....Rush could handle "McLaughlin" or anyone else pretty well. Has conservative principles down to a tee. Vulnerable only to his hypocrasy on the prescription drug abuse scandal and the occasional "un-PC" statement. His huge ego is actually a strength for him..which is rare.
Tim Russert - excellent interview style, smart... I like his work.
