Hey - I am the guy in the blue WRX w/ gold wheels. I saw you in traffic a coupla times at around 3:30 or so. Just wondering what you did to that thing to make it spin that high  john

I've seen that car on route 1 (Richmond Hwy.) I think he just got the tags to say that because the tach maxes out at 8k. I've seen the car up close as well and it doesn't look 'modded' at all. Well, except for the very tasteful pinstripes down the sides. LOL!

hey man, its been 2 years since this was posted by i just saw it:)) yeah that was me...i still drive that old 8000RPM CSVT:))...actually this is my first post. I have been reading this forums for loong timem but never posted anything...you guys still alive out there?

Ummmmm.... I don't think so.  Yes, it's a Cougar. But guess what- It's 75% identical to the CSVT!  It's had 4 engines in it throughout it's life so far (sotck 2.5L, 3L hybrid, an interim 2.5L, 3.0L turbo). Pics are available on NECO's site- Under 3L forums: 1&2 3 4 5 6&7 8 9&10 Dyno showed 369ft/lbs at <4000RPMs at 10psi. Then the dyno broke. Going back on the 10th.
