It's a good thing he paid a shop to do his, but it's really very simple to do. Just get some non-residue electrical parts cleaner (advance auto sells a cheap but good aerosol one), and just remove the air fitler housing or aftermarket air filter and spray the little wires inside the metal MAF tube. That's basically all you have to do.
