I think I got a fix for the bracket dilemma. I found some simple stainless steel plates from Home Depot, "Simpson Strong-Tie, TP15" They are about 4 inches long and 2 inches in height. They are also pre-drilled. They are used to fasten wooden joints together. In the construction/fencing isle.

Anyways, my idea is as follows: Using the measuring techniques mentioned in the How To section of CEG, fasten these parts to the rocker panel and bend them a little to match the natural curve of the rocker panel. But leave enough of a gap on the topside to allow the tab on the inside of the skirt to slide in and rest. Do this 5x on each side then fasten with the normal male/female plastic connectors along the bottom edge and wheel wells.

I'm planning on attempting this on the weekend. Is there any feedback from you guys? Let me know.

Thanks,
