I was reimbursed the $500.00 and change for the work I had paid for prior to the recall.



I found a copy of the original notice and you may be out of luck ref the recall.Ford Motor Company provided program 00M13-Engine Cooling Fan Additioal Coverage , which provided for "additional coverage on the engine cooling fan assembly to a total of 8 years of service or 160,000 kilometres from the warranty start date, whichever occurs first."
The 00S44 program was therefore for the fuse assembly recall, but, if your fan had seized before the campaign, you were reimbursed , as in my situation.

PM me and I will send you the copied letter that a dealer gave me, if you wish. I have misplaced the Original Ford letter sent to me ref my particular Contour.
