I have a 1995 mercury mystique V6 with automatic tranny, the car is now totalled but the engine is in good shape. I recently picked up a 1995 ford contour in great condition with a 2.0L Zetec with manual tranny. Can the V6 mate up with the 2.0L MTX? Someone told me all I needed was a different bell housing and better clutch to handle the increase in tork? Does anyone know?
