...not as deep as the stoc 3.0 Taurus pan....and just
has the baffles cut at the edge to help get the oil
back in the pickup area...if it were an oiling issue
re oil in heads etc it wouldn't take XXXthousand miles
for the lube to 'run dry'...you would have oil
strarvation on a new engine aswell....which most
dont....I dont buy the 'oil in heads'....'long
sweeping curves' idea.....the problem happens over a
period of time...a bad design for lube would be there
from zero miles.This is a component 'stress'
issue...and I know which component it is,from
measurements of torn down failed engines....most of
the oiling ideas are BS!...just think about it!


So in other words Clevite bearings are the answer to the problem. DMD and oil pan MIGHT extend the time that this occurs.
