Yeah sounds odd doesn't it?

Anyhow from what I understand, the updated oil pan is needed because drainage from the heads may be too slow, and the baffles, help ensure a supply of oil to the pick up tube under hard right cornering.

Now do the 3L heads, suffer from the same drainage problems?

I can be waaaaaaaaayyyyyy off here, but I'm still curious.

If drainage isn't the issue, then what is the exact reason why oil isn't being fed to the pick up tube under hard right cornering?

If you are going to answer No to the first question, then please explain the second question.
