Your post makes no sense... they realize that's the price of admission... that's why they're complaining And you don't have to "own" one of these cars to know that they're expensive to service/maintain.




My point was that aside from the scheduled maintenance, reliability isn't as bad as people make it out to be. My car is driven HARD, is nearly 5 1/2 years old, and has had no problems (except a broken vanity mirror). I've got friends with older BMWs that still run like new, despite some of them being 10+ years old. American cars can't pull off that feat.
