I use Amsoil 0W-30. I change the Amsoil filter every 10k and the oil every 20k.

Mobil 1 5w30. Used it at my first oil change (3000mi) and I think my engine is still not fully broken in...

Hmmmm, I was just talking to a friend at lunch who just drove an RX-7 R2 up from Florida. He just bought it from a guy who has some other sweet cars (Supra TT, Skyline) but I digress. The guy told him NOT to run synthetic. In fact, it also states in the manual specifically not to use it. Something to do with how a rotary engine runs.

I use Royal Purple 5W-30. Mail ordered , it's really no more expensive than Mobil 1. It probably has nothing over Mobil 1, but having the oil delivered is convenient.

Correct, you're not supposed to use syn. in rotaries. Will hurt the engine.

I use Mobil One 10W-30, and that's because I have leak and 5W-30 comes out way too fast!
