After the meet on Saturday Andy and I headed back to school. I knew of a great twistie road that was along the way so we decided to head that route. At first the road is flat and straight which is great for driving "very quickly" followed by some rollar coaster hills and then swoops into some of the curviest S turns I have ever driven.

All of which was planned but what was not was the fact that I was still driving on the snow tires because my Enkei's were delayed in shipping and not coming til Monday. Needless to say they arent the best handeling tires to be driving on and those turns did not treat them well.

Below are some pics, mostly of the 3 wheel "trick" Andy mentioned in the other post.

Basically what happened is I took the turn slightly faster than I obviously should have and the back end let loose, after unsuccessfully regaining control of the car I landed inthe ditch inches away from a boulber and between two trees! The above pics are from after I reversed out as far as I could before getting stuck. You can see the tire tracks in the last pic. I am damn lucky that nothing happen to me, my car or anyone else and that I had friends with that could push me out of the ditch! Thanks Andy!

I thought I would throw in this sexy shot of our rides that was taken after I caught my breath

Now to find something to clean those stains on the seat...

I was hoping to see a pic of your car doglegging it through a hot corner like at the autocrosses. Looks like you had a little more fun than you bargained for.

BTW, what tires are you getting with the wheels?

Xkontour98, I love the looks of your dual exhaust!! Does it sound real loud? I have to meet up with you someday and check that out. Oh what are you gonna do with the stock wheels?? I need to get rid of my damn hub caps! Makes it look like a granny car. After I get rid of the 14's I would love to hang with you guys on the curves!

Hey Tony, I am going to be keeping the stock wheels because they have my snow tires mounted on them so im not trying to drive 17's in the snow. However I do have a set of E1 SVT wheels that I can hook you up with if your interested?? The exhaust is the quiet system but is still pretty loud. Let me know if you are interested in those wheels?

Actually the road runs just north of Rochester, Mn off Hwy 52 across to Wabasha, MN where it meets up with Hwy 61. I am sooo lucky nothing bad happened
