the casinos are at the other end of the state, bout an hour or so away, there is Mohergan Sun and Foxwoods, both should have specials for weekends

look up Amerisuites or Ramada in shelton, that is the town over and not to far away, also there is a bed and breakfast in stratford, the Nathanial Booth House, nice place, use to be my grandmothers house

a yahoo hotel search in Shelton, CT will yeild a few more places, you can also try Milford, CT
