He admitted that he personally had known for more than 2 months and that the man in charge of operations in Iraq whose name I cannot recall right now had known since since the end of last year.
However, I agree that calling for his resignation is a bit overboard. But I don't know the details of what he had done to prevent the abuse from happening after he found out about it.
