Fine. Here's your perspective. I am not sorry if the pictures in these links offend anyone, but be warned that a couple of them are rightfully disturbing.

You are right, Sigma. These people do not put the same value on life that we do. Remember, these are acts committed in the name of their god. The killers of Berg, who are so brave in what they do that they forgot to show the world their faces, shouted "God is great!" as they held up his severed head. The "religion of peace" my ass.
I am getting tired of over-educated, pompus, leftists telling me to "understand" the enemy.
I understand this...
"If our enemy is not afraid to die, and we are not willing to kill him, we will be defeated."
YOU F'ING GO GONZO!!!!! You clearly have alot of the same feelings as I do on this subject, and I applaud this post.
If you read no more of this post, I want you to take a look at these pictures, and you tell me which is worse...

OR
So called torture....
Also, I was wondering if anyone else sees the B.S. in the people saying that theirs is a religion of peace, when even Sigma agrees that they don't value life as much as we do. How can you have peace when you want to murder everyone thats not part of your religion?!
You life is the most important thing you have. I don't care what their so called god has to say about this, murdering someone (who by the way was there to help your sand drinking a$$es rebuild after living with an evil dictatorship) is far worse than eating a pig, or being posed in gay poses.
But you know what, I actually do hope that they really do have this god that will condemn you for being in gay poses. To even think that any of these people will be in a place I refer to as Heaven makes me sick. The people that do these atrocitites to another human deserve to be in the deepest pits of hell.
-Nick
P.S. I do hope I offended someone, cause I think thats what we need in this country right now; people to stop being a bunch of whiney babies, who have nothing better to do than cry foul over this so called torture...

I never said that all Muslims were bomb toting or had a knife all the time, but its like picking out a needle in a hay stack with these guys. Unlike over here where its very apparent what type of social group you hold to, over there its almost impossible to pull out someone from a crowd and say they are an extremist. And If nobody wants to help rat out who is committing the crimes when in fact, some, know who is behind it and do nothing. Its the exact same thing we have in the US. You know of a drug deal going down and dont report it, your guilty of a felony. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Apply that to them and there goes some of the 'peaceful' population. And as for the world, if they criticize us on Geneva Convention Laws, then why the hell arent they chasing after Iraq. They displayed Americans on TV in a VERY degrating manner. I mean come on, if burning bodies and hanging them on a bridge and then haveing a video tape of beheading a civilian trying to help you out, isnt in violation of international law, then the troops and their videos should be dismissed without question. Screw the rest of the world if they are bias and are only applying laws to one country when in fact the other is doing the same and then some others that are far worse. And i do understand that the media coverage does distort the news a lil bit in some instances and extreme in others. But when you see something of this magnitude happen, you cant help but feel hatred towards the country/race/relgion/person(s) that decided to have the balls and twisted minds to kill another human being while screaming for their life and all the while being defensless to do anything to change the course. And all out of religion. Such hipocracy.

I fell in to the same trap then, as the "religion of peace" comment sure seemed to lump those that practice Islam in the same boat.
My apologies if I missed your point.
Also, you are correct in that Wahabbism does not lend itself to a liberal interpretation of the Koran, though it is NOT a set of marching orders that innately lends itself to Islamic terrorism.
The distortion of it and the ease of doing so by those that twist it's teachings are a different story altogether.

Well, you go find the "country" that commited those atrocities and I'm sure the Tribunal will be more than happy to deal with them.
Unfortunately the Geneva Convention applies only to those nations that signed it and only to nations period. Lone groups of people acting under their own free wil cannot be tried under the Geneva Convention.

Sorry, But I gotta post this again... I just watched the FoxNews repot on this killing... I am so angry right now about what I heard they did to this man, I swear to God I want to force anyone that says what happened to the iraqi's is worse than what happens to Americans...
Not only are these 5 arab sons of bit(hes the biggest bunch of f'ing pu$sies I have seen to date, but they aren't even human, they are animals that should face the same fate Nick Berg did... What fate is that? How about this... He is forced to describe who is is and who he is related to, then the 5 pu$sies read some $hit about their god being great and kick him on his side. They then take a knife and SAW AT HIS NECK FOR 30 SECONDS, the whole time he is screaming obviously, cause his F'ing head is being SAWED OFF! The whole time he is screaming, the 5 pu$sies are saying their god is great! I want to get my hands on whoever their so called god is and squeeze to almost last breath of life out of him, then cut his damn head off and parade it in front of a camera! There is not much in this world that can make me cry, but listening to the description of the video did it; I can't now bring myself to find the video and watch it myself, otherwise I might join the army so I can get a gun and flown to Iraq...
Like I said in my last post, I hope I offend someone who feels that what we did is such a horror... -Nick

I just viewed the video. I've seen a lot of bad things on film, but this one takes the cake. Never again.
Those crazy sumbitches are desperate. This is all they can do. Attack and murder civilians.
I'm just now waiting for someone to put a bullet into Al'Sadr's head.

Well, I was not trying to set a trap, but most people understand what they wish to, and not what their eyes see.
The larger danger is that these "distortions" are becoming "teachings", and that Wahhabism is spreading. In fact, there are now schools teaching young Muslim minds this murderous crap in America.
I do not know what you call marching orders, but when children are being taught, among other things, that Jews use the blood of Muslim babies in religious ceremonies, I must infer that this will breed hatred and thus terrorists.
EDIT: I want to add that the Saudis are the primary source of funds for the madrassas (Wahhabi schools). Strange bedfellows we pick.

Nope, haven't heard of that actually, and im not saying it didn't happen. That is far from the norm though, because as you said "you couldn't find the pictures taken after that one..." How many Americans were beaten, tortured, burned alive, strung out on bridges, decapitated, the list goes on of the atrocities done to us. I ask, where is the outrage over that?!?! Sadly, there is almost none compared to the outrage over what mostly was no more than fraternity hazing of the prisoners! And frankly, I don't feel in the least bit bad that it happened to him either, he would have done it (maybe not the rape part) to us if he had the chance, and probably has too. Seeing that he was a prisoner of war, he has at least shot at U.S. soldiers. Hopefully his 'god' saw him being raped and sent him to hell for it...

Please show me where this is a commonly-held belief among the bulk of Wahabis. I would really like to see this.
