To a Muslim that was forced into homosexual-like activities, he is dead in the eyes of himself, his people, and his God and then when he does die he will suffer an eternity of damnation. As a culture, we just can't fathom the full meaning of that. Just how significant that is. Not only is he dead, but his family is as well.
Doing those stupid things not only gave those outside of prison some 'ammunition' to use against the US (not that they really needed any), when/if that man ever leaves that prison, or if he has a family, they will only want to do one thing -- become a martyr. Only through the death of those who did that to him will he and his sons ever have retribution. It is those kind of people that are sick enough to fly planes into buildings.
