btw-you are saying the contractors death is directly the fault of those few crappy soldiers

I never said "directly". They are certainly indirectly at fault -- but then the entire Western World is in some fashion. They are, indeed, much more 'at fault' than the rest of us since their actions were the direct causation of the killing of someone.

Or, at least, that's what this particular group is saying was the reason they did it. Maybe they had him before that and they were just waiting for a good reason to kill him. I don't know, I'm just working off the evidence at hand.

Would he have been killed some other way, maybe.

You can't say "Well, he may have been killed some other way later anyhow, so it doesn't really matter why he died."

Would that group have killed someone else? Probably so.

Let's say you know a psychotic man who's going to kill someone. You tell him to kill some particular person. Are you at fault at all?

He would have killed someone anyways, right? Does that make what you did right? Of course not.

The soliders abusing the prisoners didn't pull the trigger; and I'm not advocating they get tried for manslaughter or some crap. But they apparently did not realize the gravity of their actions either. Perhaps now they do. That was all I said.
