I love the fact the turbo builds 4 pounds of boost at 2500 rpms maybe more but I have a 4 pound spring now. I am seeing still white smoke coming out of the exhaust under a load or upper rpms never exceeded 5000 yet. I have 100 miles on the motor I am just so nervous because i don't know how a new motor can smoke under throttle. I did compression check and got 180 consistent through the engine. I have a brand new Turbo I have my drain line going down and to the side then back down but never up. I just don't know why it still smokes. I need some advice I also check the intake but no oil there.

The only thing that I can think of is that you are getting a small amount of blow-by until the new rings seat.
This is completely a guess.
Are you using any oil?

Burrita- Shouldn't you have waited for the engine to "break in" before adding the turbo? I'm putting at least 1000miles so the rings will set in before putting her on. . .

You said you're running rich...just HOW rich? Do you think that's the source of smoke?

According to total seal the proper break in procedure is a steady load between 2500-3500 rpms for about 15 - 20 minutes. That's all

White smoke is indicative of burn coolant ... a blown head gasket. However, white smoke can be very small amounts of oil as well. Blueish/white smoke is definitely oil. If it's possible to smell the fumes, that should tell you right away what it is. Perhaps have a family member drive the car while you trail them in something else???
